As I blogged last month, the spring is a season full of events and this is a reason why I’m not writing technical articles in these weeks. But I promise I’ll write again in a few weeks, there are a lot of interesting ideas that need to be written down.
The first news is about two new dates of the PowerPivot Workshop in Europe:
We are in touch with local SQL Server user groups in order to organize some evening free meeting like those in Copenhagen and Zurich. More updates on this later this month.
Later this week I and Alberto will be at SQLBits 8 in Brighton, UK. The conference is sold-out and you can put your name in a waiting list if you still have not registered and you are interested to attend. We are going to release a beta of the Mirror Manager tool that we will show during the SQLBI Methodology training day. Even if you are not attending, you will be able to download the tool and test it!
Finally, just for Italian-speaking people, Thomas Kejser will join us at the Microsoft SQL Server & Business Intelligence Conference 2011 in Milan, on 19-21 April 2011. This conference is part of a larger event called Microsoft Technical Conferences 2011 that also includes the Microsoft SharePoint & Office Conference 2011 and the Microsoft Unified Communications & Collaboration Conference 2011. This year there are some session in English but all the others are in Italian. I hope in the next edition it will be possible to create whole tracks in English and give a chance to register to a wider audience.
